Where to Find Plus-Size Swimwear in 2023
Did the groundhog see his shadow this year? I can’t remember. Either way, warmer weather is on the horizon and brands are releasing their swim collections for summer. Below are some of my favourite swimsuit picks this season at a range of price points.
And in case you needed a reminder: every body is a swimsuit body. Take your summer back and have a blast in the pool with a suit that fits you perfectly and makes you feel amazing. You deserve it.
Asos
Asos has a lot of styles to choose from at a reasonable price point. Sizing varies across brands and styles.
Eloquii
Eloquii released their swim collection last weekend and it is good. Sizing up to 32.
J. Crew
If you love classic cuts in vibrant colours, a suit from J. Crew may be for you. Sized up to 3X/24.
Joe Fresh
Joe Fresh has a tiny plus size swim collection (and a much larger straight-size collection, not cool Joe Fresh). But they are cute and affordable so I’m including them here. Sizing up to 3X.
Land’s End
Although not necessarily the most fashion-forward suits out there, Land’s End has a huge selection that is worth checking out, especially if you participate in pool fitness or water sports. They have a wide variety of one pieces, separates, coverups, and rash guards in a ton of cuts and styles.

Mimi & August
Montreal brand Mimi & August has the most beautiful photography to show their collections. The suits are cute too. Sized up to 4X.
Modcloth
Modcloth’s vintage- and pinup-inspired swimsuits are just too cute. Sizing varies across brands.
Nettle’s Tale
Made in Vancouver and sized up to 4X. There are a variety of one-pieces and cute separates to choose from.
Old Navy
Old Navy is a good place to go for cute swimwear that won’t break the bank. They have bikinis, one pieces, and this swimdress style that I’m really liking. Sizing up to 4X.
Penningtons
Penningtons carries some in-house designs as well as brands such as Anne Cole and Raisins Curve. Sizing up to 6X.

Torrid has some fun bikinis and coverups to choose from. Sizing up to 6X.
Unique Vintage
Unique Vintage has a fun retro aesthetic that is carried into their swimsuit line. This Barbie swimsuit is one of my favourite finds ever – someone please buy it so I can live vicariously through you! Sizing varies across styles – be sure to double-check the size chart.
