Eco-Friendly Period Products for Curvy Canadians
For those of us who have always used disposable products during our periods, the move to period undies or reusable cups might seem strange at first. I know that it was a bit of a mental adjustment for me. After hearing about Revol Undies from Marielle Elizabeth’s Instagram, however (go follow her, she’s great), I’ve recently made the switch from disposable products and I am never going back. I find these undies much more comfortable than the plastic products that I have used for years.
From period undies to reusable pads and menstrual cups, there are lots of options out there for an eco-friendly period. I’ve listed some products below that are readily available to Canadians. Happy shopping!

I am a huge fan of this Vancouver-based brand. The undies are cute, comfy, and made in BC. They even have a low income assistance program to help those on low incomes afford their products. The Freya is my favourite (the leopard-print option, of course). Sizing up to 8XL. revolundies.com

Nixit is a made-in-Canada reusable menstrual cup. Although I have never personally used one, I have heard good things about it. One size fits all. nixit.ca
Thinx
U.S.-based Thinx carries a large selection of period underwear and also branches into other leak-proof products (such as shorts, leggings, and leotards). Sizing up to 4X. shethinx.com
